Google Stock Forecast: Earnings Outlook and Technical Analysis

Google (NASDAQ: GOOGL) appears on track for a potentially strong earnings report on Wednesday, October 29th, 2025. However, a recent overbought signal on the RSI indicator could introduce short-term market uncertainty.

With a predicted Q3 EPS of $2.26, representing a 6.19% increase from last year’s Q3 EPS of $2.12, Google may deliver another solid earnings performance. That said, this growth could be partially limited, as Google’s share price has already climbed 60.17%, potentially absorbing some of the expected upside from the upcoming report.

This possibility is further supported by the most recent daily candle closing bearish, suggesting profit-taking and a potential short-term pullback as traders and investors re-evaluate Google’s valuation. Additionally, the RSI remains in overbought territory, hinting at possible overvaluation — a view reinforced by Google’s price trading above the upper Bollinger Band.

Despite these near-term caution signals, this movement may only represent a temporary retracement as investors test bullish strength and liquidity to reduce uncertainty. As such, Google could remain an attractive opportunity for long-term investors.

From a valuation perspective, P/E-based calculations indicate potential price target zones with highs of $305.31 (an upside of 14.29%) and lows of $284.71 (an upside of 6.68%). However, analyst price targets are notably more conservative, averaging $267.53 (an upside of just 0.25%), suggesting that expectations for further short-term gains are already priced in.

Outlook for Traders and Investors

Given the short-term uncertainty surrounding the upcoming earnings report and potential retracement, traders should remain cautious. Furthermore, longer-term investors, should also remain cautious as despite having consistent earnings growth, strong fundamentals, and strong P/E long-term forecasts, analysts predict that google could be overvalued and stock prices may not actual increase by too significantly, posibly creating market uncertainty.
