Reuters reports that Apple plans to phase out liquid crystal displays (LCDs) entirely by 2025 and switch to organic light-emitting diode (OLED) screens for all iPhone models.

The article further stated that as a result of this change, Japan's Sharp and Japan Display will no longer be included on Apple's list of suppliers.

For the next iPhone SE, Apple has started placing orders with LG Display in South Korea and BOE Technology in China for OLED screens.
